Frunzensky radius, Line 5. Station “Prospect Slavy”

Description: the visitors will see the working process on construction of the station tunnels and inclined tunnel facilities, escalators installation.  Also the dismantling pit will be available still for visiting, the TBM was used for tunneling of the first Russian double-track tunnel (cut-through recorded on 11th of June, 2015). The tunnel itself will be available for visiting as well in groups of 8 persons. 

Maximum number of participants – 20 per.

Duration: 1.5 – 2 h

The visitors will be equipped with required attire (jacket and hard hat) during the tour.

Please wear comfortable clothes while attending technical tour, especially comfortable shoes, preferably rubber soles. Please note the site may be dusty.

Description:
the metro station “Prospect Slavy” is a part of the extension of the Line 5 (under construction) of the Saint Petersburg metro system.  The station complex belongs to the deep column station type, connected to the surface by two inclined tunnels (escalator tunnels).   Two halls of the station are below the ground surface and connected by the underground passage.
